SCHENECTADY — Charlotte A. Sands, 92, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at Albany Medical Center.

Charlotte was born in Rutland, Vermont, to the late Albert J. Roussil and Ada LaRock Roussil. For several years she worked as a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a devoted eucharistic minister of St. John the Evangelist Church and an active member of the church Rosary Society. Charlotte enjoyed dancing with the Benedicts Dance Club and was an avid bridge player.

Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Arthur C. Sands (d. 2010). Charlotte is survived by her children, Kevin C. Sands (Mary Kay) and Denise Sands (David Kopperdahl), and by her sisters, Mary Lou Herkel and Janice Wickhan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 810 Union St., Schenectady. There will be no calling hours. Burial will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
