SCHENECTADY:  Genevieve T. Becker, 95, passed away at home, Sunday, September 28, 2025. Genevieve was born in Amsterdam, NY, to the late Orville and Marguerite Hayes Becker. She worked at Sunnyview Hospital as a nurse's aide for over 40 years. Genevieve is survived by her sister; Beverly Becker, a niece Diane Wachunas, a nephew; Richard Chase.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated, Friday, October 3, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 2216 Rosa Road, Schenectady. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, following the mass.
