ALTAMONT, NY:  George E. Cline, 77, passed away at home Monday, October 27, 2025. George was born in Albany to the late George F. and Florence Rueter Cline. He worked as a civil engineer and spent his entire career with Clough Harbour Engineering, retiring as a partner in the business.

George was a member of the Watervliet Elks Lodge 1500, where he was a Past Exalted Ruler and a former State Vice President. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and loved to work with stained glass, paint by numbers and travel.

George was predeceased by his wife; Christine Anne Cline who died in 2023. He is survived by four children; Brian (Tami) Cline, Scott (Ortrud) Krone, Sean (Tracy) Cline and Kevin (Heather) Krone, two brothers; Robert (Theresa) Cline and Richard (Kathy) Cline, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated, Monday, November 3, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew's Church, Voorheesville. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna following the mass. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
