Herbert S. Warden passed away on July 10, 2025, after a long illness. Herb was born on February 21, 1950, in Portland, ME to Ivan and Elizabeth Warden.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cary, son Jason, and daughter Khryste, both of AZ, and several grandchildren; his brothers John (Dawn) of ME and Robert (Catherine) of AZ and FLA; and his sisters Bonnie Roast, Darlene Schelling, and Stacy Tupper (Bruce), all of ME. He was predeceased by his parents.

Herb served in Vietnam for two years, earning the Bronze Star. After the service, he earned his BS degree in business from Andover College, Westbrook, ME, then worked in the insurance business and started his own insurance agency. He also worked for CAPCOMFCU for several years.

He was buried at Saratoga National Cemetery and services were private. Donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
