NISKAYUNA:  James D. Amrock, 57, died unexpectedly, Friday, January 23, 2026. James was born in Schenectady to the late Dennis D. and the late Joanne Rissland Amrock. James was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked in the construction business for various construction companies.

He is survived by two brothers; Michael Amrock and Rand Amrock, his step-mother, Maureen Amrock, a step-brother, Keith (Amy) LaDeaux, two nieces, Pristine Amrock Wadham and Priscilla Amrock.

Calling hours will be Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Gleason Funeral Home, from 3 until 5 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow the calling hours.
