Niskayuna: Jane Healy Hastings, 93, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at St. Peter's Hospital. Jane was born in Albany, NY on December 5, 1932, to the late John J. and Mary McDonough Healy. She graduated from the Academy of the Holy Names and Schenectady County Community College, receiving an associates degree in Culinary Arts.  Before her marriage she was employed at the New York State Department of Commerce.

Jane was a member of the Schenectady Senior Center, the Niskayuna Senior Center and the Home Bureau

Jane was predeceased by her husband; John P. Hastings, who died in 2005 and her daughter; Theresa Bolger. She is survived by two sons; John P. Hastings and Brooks Hastings and three grandchildren; Ryan Hastings, Hannah Hastings and Andrew Hastings.

There will be no funeral services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Schenectady City Mission, 425 Hamilton St., Schenectady, NY, 12305.
