Obituary

Louise Ann Sack (Pasquini), 91, of Schenectady, N.Y., died peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in West Palm Beach, FL.

Louise was born on March 12, 1934, in Schenectady, the daughter of Nicholas Pasquini and Anna Mastrianni Pasquini. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1952 and was employed at various positions using her bookkeeping and typing skills while pursuing her passion as a ballet dancer with the Schenectady Civic Ballet prior to starting her family.

While raising her three girls, she enjoyed painting, bowling and working at Fulton Elementary School, where her children attended. Later, she was a member of the Quelques Fleurs Garden Club for many years. She was an active volunteer at Proctor's Theatre operating an antique shop, Act II. Louise also operated an antiques booth at Stone Soup with her husband, Thurston.

Louise was predeceased by her devoted husband of 68 years, Thurston Thomas Sack, her beloved parents, Nicholas and Anna Pasquini, and her cherished siblings, Baby Luisa, Mary Parillo (Jack), Rita Kohn (Al), and Helen Pratt (Norman).

Surviving Louise Sack are her three daughters, Debra Lynch (Ken), Ellijay, GA, Kim Sack (Jeff Smetana), Stockbridge, MA, and Kelly Baker (Patrick), West Palm Beach, FL. Also surviving Louise are her beloved grandchildren Brendan Lynch (Alicia), Gregory Lynch (Danielle), Shayna Lynch (Robert), Corey Kelly (Ben), Zachary Smetana (Erin), Allison Smetana, Emma Baker, and Ryan Baker, and great-grandchildren Lily Lynch, Finn Lynch, Jaxton Lynch, Samantha Kelly, and Henry Kelly.

She will be remembered for her humor, strength, and the deep love she gave to her family and friends. Louise's warmth, kindness, and generosity touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she adored most.

She will be deeply missed.

Services will be held at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1803 Union Street, Niskayuna, NY, on July 26th, 2025, at 10 am. Arrangements will be handled by Gleason Funeral Home, Schenectady, NY.
