SCHENECTADY: Lucretia A. Trimpoli, 85, passed away at home, Sunday, June 28, 2026.  Lucretia was born in Schenectady to the late Bruno and Anna Cognetta Trimpoli. She was a graduate of the former Linton High School, Russell Sage College and SUNY Albany, receiving a master's degree in public administration. Lucretia was employed as a manager for the New York State Department of Transportation for over 30 years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother; Bruno Trimpoli. She is survived by two nieces; Sharon (Earl) Haynes of Tampa, FL, and Suzanne Trimpoli of Niskayuna, four great-nieces and nephews; Dixon (Lexy) Phillips, Michael Haynes, Sophia Alami and Leila Alami.

Calling hours will be Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4 until 6 p.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 11th, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 810 Union St., Schenectady. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady, following the mass.
