Marguerite A. Montuori

LOUDONVILLE, NY: Marguerite A Montuori, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday September 18th 2026 at The Wesley community after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born on May 27, 1939 she was the daughter of Samuel Aleide and Mary Aleide of Mount Vernon, NY

She is survived by her three sons, Michael Montuori (Susan Szarek), Steven Montuori (Aurelie) Daniel Montuori (Susan), her 6 cherished grandchildren, one great grandson, her siblings Eugenia Pagano and Salvatore Aleide, many loving nephews, nieces and close friends.

She is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Victor H Montuori and her parents.

Marge grew up in Mount Vernon, NY, and studied at SUNY Albany graduating with a master’s degree. After teaching French for over 20 years, Marge retired and enjoyed traveling the world.

She was happiest vacationing on Cape Cod, golfing with her husband, or simply having Sunday dinner with her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St John the Evangelist Church, 810 Union St., Schenectady, on Thursday, September 24th at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
