SCHENECTADY:  Michael F. Maloney, 74, died at home Thursday, June 25, 2026.  Mike was born in Schenectady to the late Thomas J. and Betty Conahan Maloney.  He was a graduate of the former Bishop Gibbons High School and Schenectady County Community College where he received an associate's degree in culinary arts.

Mike was the officer manager for T.J. Maloney Plumbing and Heating for several years, retiring in 2001. He was a communicant of St. Luke's Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother; Brian J. Maloney. He is survived by his siblings; Patrick (Tina) Maloney, Thomas W. Maloney, Kathleen (the late Daniel Diamond) Maloney, Nancy (Edward) Eksterowicz and Joanne Spencer, sister-in-law Virginia "Ginny" Maloney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made to, Saratoga Little League Challenger Teams.
