Remy C. Monarch

SCHENECTADY: Remy Charles Monarch, 67, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 after a long illness. Remy was born in Schenectady to the late Charles and Louise (Pileggi) Monarch.

Remy leaves behind his sisters, Anne C. Monarch and Mary C. Fogg, nieces, Julianne Fogg (Byron Meadows), Marygrace Fogg, Angelica Fogg and many cousins.

There will be a calling period Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 8:45 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Following the calling period, his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 810 Union St., Schenectady. Burial will be at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, following the mass.
