Richard (Rick) Garvin Breault, 67, formerly of Schenectady and Binghamton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his home in Bluffton, SC.  He was a graduate of Linton High School and Siena College.

Rick had a long career with companies including Roland J. Down, R.L Stone and Batesville Casket before retiring in 2022 from Air Temp Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc in Binghamton, NY.

Rick enjoyed serving his communities for over 30 years as a volunteer firefighter.   In his retirement, he was working on his golf game, swimming for exercise and playing bocce with friends.

He is survived by his partner, Mary L. Jaworski of Bluffton, SC, his parents Dr. Richard M. Breault and Marlene Breault of Schenectady, brothers John (Kelly) of Old Chatham, NY and James (Kristine) of Denver, NC, daughters Christina Claudio (Cory) of Boonville, NY, Marissa Jordan (Nick) of Cherry Valley, NY and Jenna Breault (Logan McGeehan) of Wilmington, DE, and beloved granddaughter Addison Claudio of Boonville, NY.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated, Friday, September 26, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 810 Union St., Schenectady, NY. There will be no calling hours. Following the mass, burial will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
