Richard M. Wood

SARATOGA SPRINGS: Richard M. Wood, 63, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Saratoga Hospital. Richard was born in Albany, NY, to the late Marvin and Barbara Gershon Wood.

Richard was a graduate of Linton High School, class of 1981. Because of his passion for horses, he worked at the Saratoga Harness Track.

Richard was predeceased by a brother, Michael Wood. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Ormsby Wood, two children, Taylor Wood and Tyler Wood, two brothers, Barry Segel and Stephen (Pamela) Wood, one aunt, Susan Lupo, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
