SCHENECTADY:  Sandra "Sandy" Barrett, 80, died Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Ellis Hospital. Sandy was born in Saratoga Springs to the late Olin and Fern (LaRue) Smith. She was employed as a secretary for several area businesses.

Sandy is survived by her significant other; Steve St. George, two sons; Kevin (Natalie) Slater and Keith (Michelle Elston) Barrett, one brother; Olin Smith, nine grandchildren; Anna Grace Redd, Katelyn Redd, Emily Redd, Stephanie (Dustin) Moss, Erika (Joel Winkler) Barrett, Tiffany Barrett, Mikayla Barrett, Gabriel Barrett and Ryan (Jordan) Barrett, three great-grandchildren; Josephine Moss, Joel Michael Winkler and Jase Barrett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside committal service, Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
